Hi everyone!
I’ve been organizing a nice DJ contest on my facebook page Swiss DJs Community. The rules were quite simple: The DJs who post the best mix and the best prod both win Reloop headphones offered by audiosource.ch.

I am personnaly very much used to produce epic music and I feel often disappointed listening to what is played in clubs. But I have to say that I was surprised to get hot mixes and productions in varied genres such as tech, deep house, trance, psy, RnB… When too many DJs follow the radio charts or Beatport 100, others follow their hearts. All is not lost!

The 2 winners send a tech house set and a tropical vocal house production. For me, it’s very important to have interest in other musical genres. Get your inspiration from something you don’t know! The moral: If you listen to tech minimal, try jazz and if you listen to hip-hop, try also rock!
