Depeche Mode rework

Hi everyone!

Here’s my personal tribute to Depeche Mode, one of the groups that I like very much and that influenced me by their sense of musicality. You can listen to this version by clicking here.
Before starting my own version (remixing DM is like climbing the Everest wearing flip flops) I ased myself many questions. I quickly chose the track “Enjoy the silence” but remixing it just by using the audio files wasn’t quite satisfying for me to express myself completely.

So I just kept the inimitable voice of Martin L. Gore and I reinterpreted the whole orchestration, using the main theme and adding variations on my own with calm moments.
I tend to think that some today’s composers have fear of emptiness and desperately want to fill it. A sincere music holds its breath, takes its time, enjoys the silence.

Sincerly,
Epic Amour
